Inter Held By Siena

Inter Milan were ready to celebrate winning the scudetto this past Sunday, but their party was not meant to be thanks to the hard work of Siena. Twice Inter took the lead, and twice Siena equalized with the score ending 2-2. Marco Matterazzi missed a penalty late in the second half that would have brought the title to the Inter faithful at home, which means that the Serie A will come down to the last day of the season. Roma beat Atalanta by a score of 2-1, which pulls them to within one point of Inter for the title. A win for Inter secures the scudetto, but a draw or loss, followed by a Roma win hands the title to the Roman club.
