Marco Matterazzi missed a penalty late in the second half that would have brought the title to the Inter faithful at home, which means that the Serie A will come down to the last day of the season. Roma beat Atalanta by a score of 2-1, which pulls them to within one point of Inter for the title. A win for Inter secures the scudetto, but a draw or loss, followed by a Roma win hands the title to the Roman club.
