Chelsea are looking to retool their squad this off-season, and the biggest move that owner Roman Abramovich would like to make is to being in Barcelona star Lionel Messi. Barca have stated that Messi, their new talisman, would not be for sale at any price, however the Chelsea billionaire owner thinks that a fee of 80 Million pounds may help to change their mind. That price is almost double the old record transfer fee paid to Juventus for Zinedine Zidane by Real Madrid in 2001. If Chelsea can pull off this move, it would be a clear sign that the team will be altering their playing tactics to reflect a more skilled, possession oriented game, which is what both Abramovich and manager Grant have been hoping to do.
