Argentine striker Claudio Lopez, best known for his time in Spain with Valencia and Italy with Lazio has signed on in the MLS with the Kansas City Wizards. The club has confirmed that the player signed his contract on friday, and on mlsrumors.blogspot.com there are several pictures and an email confirming his transfer. This is a player of real quality, and if he still has some of the speed that was a big part of his game earlier in his career, he should be successful in the MLS.
